Little butterfly of love,
You were sent from God above,
With rainbow colors that you wear,
Like waving banners in the air.
Ladybug, you flit and fly,
From flower to flower as you go by,
With shiny black buttons on your bright red dress,
You fill our hearts with happiness.
Little caterpillar with coat so grand,
Please let me hold you in my hand,
And wrinkle up your tiny nose,
While you tickle me with your little toes.
Oh, firefly, please glow so bright,
And dance like pixie dust tonight,
Or like a shooting star you dare,
To let me catch you in my snare.
Merry little cricket bold,
You bring me luck as I've been told,
Your cheerful chirp is sheer delight,
As you hop around my house tonight.
