I've got the winter blues,
Like you wouldn't believe,
Some semblance of happiness,
Is all I'd like to achieve.
This time of year, I don't know,
Whether I'm a Scrooge or a Grinch,
All I know is I'm a holiday hater,
They make life anything but a cinch.
I don't know what it is,
About this time of year,
It's supposed to be a time of joy,
It's supposed to be a time of cheer.
How do you beat the winter blues?
With loved ones close at hand,
They can bring you out of sadness,
And bring joy and cheer to this land.
So, don't you let the winter blues,
Overpower your mind,
You can overcome anything,
With the joy and peace you'll find.
