An Ember of Faith

With all of my daily struggles, It’s hard for me to remember, I’ll be okay as long as I have, A little faith, even just a glowing ember. A little faith can go a long way, On the path toward reaching your goals, Just trust in the Lord’s work, And He will fill in the holes. Everyday is an unending battle, I fight to live up to my name, Life is full of the tricks of time, It’s a very dangerous game. But as long as there’s the smallest ember, Of faith burning in my heart, I can make it through anything, And my faith plays a major part. December 28, 2019
